Job description

Acquisition Lead
Theale

To lead a team of Acquisition Delivery Managers to secure planning permission and achieve the best possible rights with landlords to deploy a defined group of new and existing telecom sites. To work with the Companies Programme Teams and where necessary customers to achieve the optimum site solution in terms of time, cost & quality. Consideration always to the companies commercial targets and customers delivery targets. To report in a timely and accurate manner on all elements of acquisition delivery as required. To escalate and assess suitable solutions to continually improve acquisition processes and documents via acquisition governance.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Delivery To manage the Acquisition Delivery Managers to deliver the acquisition activities across all agreed programmes to achieve the companies & Shareholder targets through effective management of the Acquisition Delivery Managers, the Legal team, Solicitors & 3rd party suppliers.
  • Be aware of and manage dependencies on the companies and Operator regional teams across all programmes through effective, tracking & reporting to ensure the companies acquisition targets are effectively supported by helping to allocate internal resources.
  • Manage ADM's and suppliers to maintain an accurate acquisition delivery status on all programmes. Work with the companies reporting teams to create suitable accurate reports to help drive effective delivery and establish areas where improvement is needed.
  • Manage and educate the ADM team to deliver target lease and New ECC terms on individual sites by applying agreed standards, policies & expertise, and escalating exceptions to enable the business to make informed decisions.
  • Apply significant telecoms acquisition & property expertise to lead, support & validate the work of the ADM's, Acquisition Agents, Solicitors & 3rd party suppliers to provide consistent best practice for delivery excellence.
