Arborist Grounds Person

What we’re looking for:

• Do you have experience of working in an arboricultural service?
• Are you able to work in all weathers in an outdoor environment?
• Do you have the following qualifications?
  • NPTC 201/202 (formerly CS30, 31)
• Are you able to undertake physically demanding work?
• Do you have experience of using a wide range of equipment and tools?

Here at Peabody, we have an opportunity for an Arborist Grounds person on a Permanent basis at our base location in Thamesmead.

A bit about the role:

As an Arborist Grounds person, you will provide ground support to the arboricultural team.

Some of the key results for the role include:

• To provide guidance from the floor for tree pruning operations.
• To assist in carry out tree felling and stump removal.
• To assist carry out cable braising and tree support system activities.
• Deliver excellent customer service.
• To safely use of a wide variety of equipment and hand tools including but not limited to saws /pole saws / hand tools.

This role will require a UK driver’s licence.
