Architectural Assistant (Part 2), Henley On Thames

Simon Mack Architecture Ltd is a small architectural practice specialising in contemporary residential design, based in Henley on Thames, Oxfordshire. The majority of our projects are extensions or new private dwellings.  We are looking for a talented Part 2 Architectural Assistant to join our studio. They should have excellent communication skills, be well motivated, organised and reliable. As a practice, members of the studio are expected to work on all RIBA stages. Work will include assisting with the preparation of concept design, planning and building regulation applications as well as presentations, 3D modelling, construction detailing and attending site and client meetings.  

The candidate should be:

• RIBA Part 1 and 2 qualified
• Have good design awareness
• Competent in ArchiCAD or similar transferable skills (Revit) and an ability to use Photoshop
• Have strong verbal and communication skills.
• Have the confidence to hand sketch 
• Living within a commutable distance of Henley on Thames.

Salary to be negotiated depending on experience and skills.
