Architectural EngineerKBR’s global business comprises two main segments – Sustainable Technology Solutions (STS) and Government Solutions (GS). This role sits within STS in the Integrated Solutions business unit. Integrated Solutions is the engineering and project delivery group providing services which include front-end and detailed engineering, procurement, construction services, and program management primarily in the hydrocarbons and energy transition industries.
As an Architectural Assistant / Engineer, you will support projects, under supervision, in the preparation of design deliverables, which include:
Prepare design briefs, bases of design, material specifications, data sheets, lists and schedules- Produce design proposals for a variety of onshore buildings and offshore accommodation and utility structures that typically include:
o Technical buildings, such as substations, instrument equipment buildings and control rooms
o Offshore modules, including living quarters
- Ability to undertake design studies and propose technical solutions
- Understanding of the role of international industry codes and standards
- Prepare material take-offs
Essential Requirements
- Degree in Architecture with a relevant number of years working in practice or similar design or engineering environment
- Proficient in CAD software such as AutoCAD, MicroStation and Revit
- Ability to work efficiently and effectively when managing multiple tasks
- Ability to work both independently and in a multi-disciplinary team environment
- Ability to work in a hybrid-based role
