Responsibilities:
- Design and Drafting:
- Utilize AutoCAD or similar design software to create detailed architectural drawings for commercial solar mounting projects.
- Work closely with the engineering team to translate conceptual designs into precise technical drawings.
- Ensure that architectural designs adhere to industry standards, local building codes, and project specifications.
- Project Collaboration:
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including project managers and engineers, to integrate architectural designs seamlessly into overall project plans.
- Participate in design reviews and provide technical expertise to ensure the successful execution of solar mounting systems.
- Site Analysis:
- Conduct site assessments to gather relevant data for design and installation purposes.
- Collaborate with project managers and on-site teams to address architectural considerations during the planning and construction phases.
- Documentation:
- Prepare comprehensive documentation, including construction drawings, specifications, and material lists.
- Keep accurate records of design changes, updates, and project-related communications.
- Quality Assurance:
- Review architectural designs for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with project requirements.
- Contribute to the development and improvement of design standards and processes.
Qualifications:
- Diploma or degree in Architecture, Architectural Technology, or a related field.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD or other architectural design software.
- Knowledge of building codes, regulations, and construction practices.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in design work.
- Effective communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Previous experience in the Solar Energy industry is a plus.
