Description
- Work closely with the land manager and development team to develop design concepts and technical drawings for housing projects targeting individuals aged 55 and above.
- Prepare detailed architectural drawings, plans, and specifications using computer-aided design (CAD) software, ensuring accuracy and compliance with building regulations and industry standards.
- Collaborate with external architects, engineers, consultants, and contractors to coordinate design activities, resolve technical issues, and ensure the successful delivery of projects.
- Conduct site visits and inspections as required to gather information, assess site conditions, and verify compliance with design specifications and regulatory requirements.
- Provide technical expertise and support to the development team throughout the project lifecycle, from initial concept development to construction completion.
- Stay informed about emerging trends, technologies, and best practices in architectural design and construction, and incorporate innovative solutions into housing projects where appropriate.
Profile
- Degree or equivalent qualification in Architectural Technology or a related field.
- Proven experience as an Architectural Technologist, preferably within the housing or residential development sector.
- Proficiency in computer-aided design (CAD) software, such as AutoCAD or Revit.
- Strong knowledge of building regulations, construction methods, and technical drawing standards.
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and effectively manage workload in a remote work environment.
