This role will cover circa 12 stores across the Nottingham/Mansfield areas.
With over 700 Stores across the UK and an exciting new store opening plan scheduled for 2024, we’re growing at a phenomenal rate at B&M! We’re also committed to developing our people and providing opportunities to everyone at all levels - succession remains heavily at the heart of our business.
We are looking for an Area Manager who is passionate about people, customers and achieving challenging but rewarding business goals. In an area consisting of c.12 stores, you’ll need to be commercially driven and will be given the autonomy to drive the performance of your area. You’ll motivate, nurture, and encourage your team to develop on their personal performance as well as deliver the business strategy using exceptional leadership and coaching skills.
To be successful, you’ll be able to demonstrate:
- Experience in managing multi-site teams in a fast paced retail environment
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- A proven track record of delivering sales targets
- Experience leading & implementing business strategy, plans and driving compliance
- Working knowledge of current employment practices
- Experience influencing senior stakeholders and teams
- FMCG/brown box/grocery experience is desirable
