About the Role
The Training & Academic Services Officer is responsible for coordinating and administering the academic services, this role will be the point of contact for students seeking professional guidance and signposting on a range of issues (both academic and personal). They will provide key support and management in evolving internal processes and systems related to the smooth running of the academic team’s work, as well as to the student services and support infrastructure, and they will be experienced in supporting senior teaching and academic staff through the administration of programme and student information. They will also be a primary academic point of contact for our academic partners whilst supporting the Director of Training and their team in the development of organisational procedures and course development.
Requirements
Experience
- At least 2 years’ experience of working in an academic services role ideally within a Higher Education institution Educated to degree level, or relevant qualification
- Proficiency in Customer Relationship Management (CRM) and Virtual Learning Environment (VLE) systems
- Demonstrable knowledge and experience of Microsoft Teams and incorporated operating software
- Demonstrable rigour in reporting and administrative management
- Demonstrable experience in contracting and budget management

An awareness and experience of pastoral and welfare support or training in an educational setting is also desirable.
