My client is seeking an Area Manager to oversee the day-to-day management of 4 parks in Devon and Cornwall. As part of one of the largest park home providers in the UK, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the high standards of our residential parks and ensuring they remain places our residents are proud to call home.
Day-to-day of the role:- Oversee the site maintenance programme to ensure all parks are well-maintained.
- Arrange and manage external contractors for various maintenance and development projects.
- Act as the first point of contact for residents, addressing their concerns and queries.
- Hold regular meetings with Resident Associations to foster community relations.
- Manage park wardens, ensuring they are effectively carrying out their duties.
- Arrange periodic health and safety testing to comply with regulations.
- Liaise with Local Authorities regarding site licensing and compliance.
- Handle incoming letters, emails, and telephone calls from residents promptly and professionally.
- Build and maintain a thorough knowledge of legislation and processes relevant to the company.
- Report periodically to management on park status and resident feedback.
- Commercial awareness and the ability to communicate effectively across all levels of the business.
- Confidence in face-to-face interactions and experience in problem-solving.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Professional demeanour and well-presented at all times.
- Facilities management experience is useful but not critical.
- Experience within the housing sector is desired but not essential.
- Willingness to travel extensively within the designated area.
- Full UK driving licence is mandatory.
