Hiring in the East Midlands
£40,000 - £50,000 DOE, OTE of £80,000 + company car + pension +laptop + smart phone + company credit card.
Commission structure: Paid at 1% up to 2.5 million turnovers, and 1.5% on anything over 2 million.
AOV: Varies from £200,000 to £400,000.
My client is a growing distributor of Taiwanese and Korean machine tools revolutionising the market by offering financing options to their growing customer base. They have an impressive supply of machines in stock ready to relocate ASAP to avoid losing orders due to lengthy waiting periods.
They have a fantastic history of staff retention with many of their members celebrating their 10th and 20th anniversaries with the company. This is due to their ethos of rewarding success and looking after their staff, providing flexibility when needed.
They are looking for an ambitious team player to join their team with strong account management skills and the desire to win on new business. This is the fantastic opportunity for a professional with a strong sales track record looking for their next steps with a forward-thinking business.
The Role:
- Proactively identifying leads and new areas of growth for sales
- Promoting their portfolio of machines against their competitors within the marketspace.
- A mixture of expanding existing accounts and new business.
- Producing weekly and monthly sales reports and forecasting when required.
- Providing quotes for new customers
- Working within a team environment to achieve your monthly and quarterly KPI’s.
- Assisting with strategic planning within the business.
Requirements:
- A minimum of 2 years’ experience within the Machine Tool Industry to provide you with a substantial knowledge of CNC machines.
- A strong sales track record is preferred, but open to candidates with the drive to succeed stepping into a sales role.
- Strong communication skills and an aptitude for negotiation
- Full UK driving license.
- Someone with a project-based mindset to solution sell.
