Area Sales Manager – North East

The Company:

A recognised global supplier of home furnishing products with over 160 years of experience supplying retailers, interior designers and workroom markets. This is a friendly, customer focused business that achieves results through great products and service.

The Role:

• You will be responsible for managing and developing your own base of existing accounts within the independent retail and contract trade, whilst actively seeking to develop new business across your territory.
• Your area will cover Northumberland, North and East Yorkshire, Durham, Tyne and Wear up to the Scottish Borders.

The Person:

We are looking for an experienced Sales Representative who will be passionate about selling in the soft furnishing trade. Key requirements are:

• Based in North Yorkshire, East Yorkshire, Durham, Tyne and Wear or Northumberland.
• A natural people-person who builds strong customer relationships
• Strong work ethic and great planning skills - able to manage a large customer base
• At least 3 years of field sales experience or a background in interior design / retail
• A driven and determined character who is passionate about being successful and maximise bonus income

Salary:

• Up to £35,000 basic (depending on experience), plus 20% bonus, company car, phone and benefits
