Friendly and stable Global organisation with a reputation for excellent training and development are recruiting for an pump sales Engineer, Area sales engineer, technical salesperson, Field based covering the South West region, reporting in to the UK sales manager.
The pump sales Engineer, Area sales engineer, technical sales person role involves
- Field based Sales engineering covering the South West region from Wiltshire to Cornwall
- Generating opportunities from existing clients and identifying new business opportunities approx 50/50 mix of existing and new business
- Sales visits to the existing customer base, assessing, developing and maintaining good customer relationships at all levels
- Reviewing customer enquiries and follow up quotations
- Answering any queries in relation to the technical & commercial elements of the service and products provided
- Working in conjunction with internal sales and tendering engineers to develop any potential sales opportunities
- Grow the customer base and achieve monthly/annual financial targets
- Updating relevant information on the company CRM system and knowledge of Microsoft office suite are required.
The pump sales Engineer, Area sales engineer, technical sales person is likely to have
experience of growing business in the service & replacement sector for pumps and related
services. Knowledge of working with water companies, building services, Contractors and
environments utilising pumps is of particular interest.
A typical week would involve visiting/meeting existing clients and prospects within person and 1
day a week working from home.
The pump sales Engineer, Area sales engineer, technical sales person is likely to have a mechanical engineering or similar background, with training in and or related mechanical qualifications. Knowledge of Pumps, valves and associated equipment is ideal.
