We have a fantastic opportunity for an ambitious sales person at a global market leader within the OTR Tyre sector.
Our exclusive clients are one of the leading global suppliers of tyres and services in the tyre sector and currently require an experienced business development manager to cover Scotland, selling Tyres and services to the construction/waste/quarrying sector.
The role will be a varied covering the territory dealing with 50/50 split of new and existing clients. You will have the opportunity to grow their existing clients whilst developing new business by using your personality skills to break down new doors.
You will ideally have knowledge of the construction sector, though this is not essential, be a self starter who can manage their own territory, someone who is looking to learn and have the chance to build a genuine long term career with a company that can offer global opportunities.
This established business has plenty of opportunities for personal growth, with offices based around the world.
Covering Scotland, this role requires you to be on the road regularly, visiting customers around Scotland. Ideally you will have easy access to the Central Belt.
We are looking for an enthusiastic person who can communicate on all levels, and who is happy to put a hard hat and safety boots on to meet new and existing customers.
Duties:
- Develop and implement strategies to increase sales and revenue
- Identify new business opportunities and potential clients
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective clients
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Business Development Manager or similar role
- Strong communication and negotiation skills
- Excellent organizational and time management abilities
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
