Area to be covered: Cambridgeshire and Surrounding Counties
Remuneration: £35,000-£40,000 basic £60,000-£70,000 OTE

The role of the Areal Sales Manager Bespoke Timber Doors and Windows will involve:

Field sales position, selling a made to measure range of high end Timber Windows and Doors (high end, front doors can cost £4,000)

Stimulating demand with regional housebuilders and private developers

Fulfilling sale by back-selling via builders merchants/ trade counters

Inheriting an area currently achieving £450,000

Tasked with growing the area to £800,000

Supported by internal sales team

Working within a field sales team of nine nationally, this opportunity has come about purely through expansion

Predominantly a new business development opportunity which will evolve over time

Typically 4 days a a week on the road visiting customers

Average order value currently £8,000-£10,000 but can vary

The ideal applicant will be anArea Sales Manager Bespoke Timber Doors and Windows with:

Ideally from the fenestration industry

Must have sold into regional housebuilders/ private developers

Comfortable managing relationships with builders merchants

Relatively open on product experience, knowledge of joinery/ windows/ doors may be beneficial

Ideally sold high end / added value, aesthetically pleasing building products

Proven track record in new business and field sales as well as account management/ relationship building ability

Attitude is the key drive, ambition, gumption etc

Consultative sales approach, not bullish / brash

Knowledge of made to measure Timber Windows and Doors is not essential as full product training will be provided
