2022 and the APSE Building Cleaning Innovation Award 2023.
This is a great opportunity for an enthusiastic and highly motivated individual who
uses their own initiative to play an important role in ensuring the effective operation
and continuous improvement as part of the Cleaning and Building Facilities Service.
This will include managing the cleaning and janitorial services within multiple schools
and Council buildings in an allocated area for up to 12 months covering maternity
leave.
This post may be suitable for secondment. Agreement from your line manager must be sought before applying for this post.

You will have experience of working in a similar role with minimal supervision; with
the ability to organise and prioritise work flexibly to meet changing demands; and the
ability to interpret and apply Council policies and procedures, including any relevant
legislation. You will support project implementation and delivery. You will have
experience in dealing with internal and external contacts with a professional and
positive approach.
A current driving licence is an essential requirement of this post. However, if you have a disability which precludes you from holding a driving licence consideration will be given if alternative transport can be arranged.
