Job Role - Art and Design Teacher

About the role:

Teaching Personnel are looking to appoint two fully qualified art teachers for a school in Alum Rock, Birmingham. The two succesfull Art Teachers will work within a maintreem secodary school environment, collaborating with colleagues and supporting students' artistic development. You may be required to attend meetings, workshops, and training sessions as needed.

The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, creativity, dedication, organisation, enthusiasm, patience, and the ability to follow school rules and policies. If successfull you will also contribute to the development of the art curriculum, participate in school events and exhibitions, and maintain a safe and inclusive learning environment.

This role also has the option for a temp to perm contract.

Qualifications needed:

- A PGCE in Art and Design 

- NQT / QTS 

- BA Honors Degree in Art or a simular field

The ideal candidate will:

- Be able to teach classes of up to 30 students 

- Follow the UK Art and Design Curriculm 

- Be able to teach KS3 and KS4 students 

- Be able to plan and mark students work

- Deliver engaging and hands on lessons

- Provide constructive feedback and support individual learning needs

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
