Pay: £120 to £200 per day

TeacherActive is proud to be working in partnership with an independent school with students aged 11 to 19 in the heart of Birmingham. This school provides a high standard of education that helps each student achieve their future goals.

This is a full-time position, with an immediate start date. The school is looking to interview potential candidates immediately.

If successful you would be working across KS3 to KS5 delivering Art & Design and supporting in other creative subjects.

 Your role is to help students achieve excellent results in the subject, whilst following schemes of learning. Experience teaching Photography, and ability to cover Design and Technology at Key Stage 3 is highly desirable but not essential.

The Senior Leadership Team will offer excellent support and will provide an encouraging and supportive environment.

The ideal Art teacher should have the following:

• QTS
• Experience supporting KS3/Key Stage 3 to KS5/Key Stage 5
• Create engaging and innovative lesson plans.
• Be prepared to plan and prepare work.
• Provide cover when/where needed.
• A calm and caring persona
