Salary Range: £150-£220 per day
We are currently seeking a dedicated and passionate Art Cover Teacher to join a SEN school. This temporary position is available from 18th January until approximately Easter Half Term, providing an exciting opportunity to contribute to the education and development of our students.
Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver engaging art lessons tailored to the diverse needs of students with Special Educational Needs (SEN).
- Adapt teaching methods and materials to accommodate individual learning styles within the classroom.
- Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment that encourages creativity and self-expression.
- Collaborate with other teachers and support staff to ensure a holistic and supportive approach to student development.
- Assess and monitor students’ progress, providing constructive feedback and guidance.
- Complete necessary planning and preparation for lessons.
Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent in Art Education.
- Experience working with students with Special Educational Needs (SEN) is highly desirable.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Ability to adapt teaching strategies to meet the varied needs of students.
- Commitment to creating an inclusive and positive learning environment.
Class Size:
The class size will range from 7 to 15 pupils, providing an opportunity for close engagement and personalized instruction.
Salary:
The salary for this position is in the range of £150-£220 per day, dependent on experience and qualifications.
