The school is seeking a passionate and dedicated Art and Photography Teacher to join their team on a permenant basis from Septemeber 2024. The successful candidate will have a strong enthusiasm for teaching art and photography, a deep understanding of various artistic techniques and photographic practices, and the ability to inspire and engage students of all abilities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and deliver high-quality art and photography lessons that encourage creativity, self-expression, and technical proficiency.
• Create an inclusive learning environment that fosters artistic exploration, critical thinking, and a passion for visual arts.
• Monitor and assess student progress, providing constructive feedback to support their academic and personal development.
• Collaborate with colleagues to share best practices and contribute to the overall improvement of the art and photography department.
• Actively participate in arts-related extracurricular activities and contribute to the wider school community.

Qualifications:

• A relevant degree in Fine Arts, Photography, Art Education, or a related field.
• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.
• Demonstrated experience in teaching art and photography at the secondary school level.
• Proficiency in a variety of artistic mediums and photographic techniques.
• Strong communication skills, both visual and verbal.
• A commitment to ongoing professional development and a desire to stay current with contemporary art and photography practices and pedagogy.
