ASB Officer – Housing Association – About the Client:
Castlefield Recruitment are currently working with a well-established housing association in Merseyside who are looking to appoint an ASB Officer on a 2-3 month contract with strong indication to be extended further. This opportunity comes with a competitive hourly rate of £21.44 per hour through umbrella, for a 37-hour contract per week. This position offers flexible working hours along with hybrid working.
ASB Officer – Housing Association – About the Role:
- To protect demand for our properties from the negative effects of nuisance, anti-social behaviour and other tenancy breaches, using a range of early intervention tools to combat nuisance across Merseyside
- Managing high level cases when legal action is required, interviewing customers, writing statements and putting together court bundles
- Risk assessing cases and ensuring that appropriate support and target hardening measures are utilised, including preparing rehousing requests for victims of domestic abuse and hate crime in a timely manner where appropriate.
- Provide restorative solutions using techniques such as acceptable behaviour agreements self-help, mediation and other non-legal remedies
ASB Officer – Housing Association – What You Need
- Experience of ASB/tenancy enforcement case management at a high level
- Experience in writing statements and applications for court proceeding and attending court
- Thorough understanding of relevant legal frameworks and legislation pertaining to anti-social behaviour
