YOUR JOB
- Overseeing delivery of site and office-based asbestos and hazardous materials projects
- Overseeing contractors that perform asbestos management, refurbishment, and demolition projects
- To provide technical expertise to the Compliance Lead to enable their duties to be fulfilled effectively
- Undertaking asbestos verification works
- To act as a subject matter expert for the company, in relation to fire safety
- Support, develop and maintain the Housing Asbestos management policy
- To provide expert advice and guidance to managers and staff at all levels of the organisation and act as a focal point for the management of asbestos related matters
Working
Hours: 37 per week, Monday - Friday
Requirements:
- Experience in a similar role, ideally with residential property knowledge
- Minimum 3 years' experience within the Asbestos sector, property management or similar sector
- Experience of working in a building compliance or asbestos service environment
- Technical acumen with asbestos in design, management and use of residential buildings
- Knowledge of asbestos processes and guidance/best practice
- Specialist knowledge of asbestos and its applications to housing
- P403 and P404 and/or P402 OR S301 (W504) with CoCA
