Asbestos Removal Contract Manager

Due to an increase in upcoming projects, there is now a need for a Asbestos Removal Contract Manager to join this highly successful and forward-thinking organisation.

We are looking for a Asbestos Removal Contract Manager  who wants to work in a diverse role where no two days are the same.

The Asbestos Removal Contract Manager, will be responsible for:

• Costing and scheduling of Asbestos Removal works including
• Undertaking pre-quote site visits.
• Liaising with clients regarding all access, timescales and health & safety issues in which may arise in conjunction with the appointed Asbestos Supervisor.
• Controing costs of the projects to ensure profitability and customer satisfaction.
• Producing Method Statements and Risk Assessments for all types of Asbestos Removal works.
• Working with suppliers and compliance team to ensure that the correct equipment and competency on site is arranged for safe completion of works.
• Liaising with accreditation bodies and enforcement agencies as required.
• Assigning Supervisor and Operatives for daily works in conjunction with Administration team and Management team.
• Conducting  site quality checks, audits and site inspections as planned during ongoing works.
• Building relationships and the ability to interact and negotiate with clients.
• Assisting the Admin team in the completion of tender documentation.
• Pricing schedules for all Asbestos Removal  works.
• Ensuring that all risks relating to health, safety, environmental and quality are effectively managed through the use of RAMS, PPE.
• Handling training and company procedures to ensure a safe working environment for all employees, clients and end users.
• Handling pressure to meet strict deadlines whilst taking overall responsibility for each contract is important.
• Providing excellent customer service & interpersonal skills both in person, by telephone and/or written communication.
• Handling proven track record in delivering multiple contract within the Asbestos Removal business.

To be successful for this Asbestos Removal Contract Manager role you must have:

• 10 plus years within the Asbestos Removal industry.
• 5 plus years in a similar management role.
• Extensive knowledge of Health and Safety policies and the asbestos regulations.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Strong leadership and managerial skills.
• Full clean driving licence.
• The ability to work well within a small team is essential.
• Computer literate.
• Personable demeanour.
