Join our Team as a Temporary Assembly Operator
Adecco Dundee is excited to announce a fantastic opportunity to join our esteemed, long standing partner based in Dundee. We are currently seeking a number of dedicated individuals for the role of Temporary Assembly Operator to work full-time hours on a rotational night-shift pending successful completion of 6-8 weeks training undertaken during day-shift hours.
Key Responsibilities:
Working with intricate items as part of the assembly process, demanding excellent dexterity
Follow written and graphic instructions in the assembly of component parts
Adhere to all H&S requirements on-site
Work as an individual within a larger team, taking responsibility for your own output, attaining production targets
Shift Details:
Rotational nights: 2 weeks on day shift followed by 2 weeks on night-shift. (Shift allowance payable)
First 6-8 weeks training will be completed during standard day-shift hours (Standard day-shift pay rate)
Qualifications/Experience:
Previous manufacturing experience, particularly in the assembly of small or electronic parts, is highly desirable.
General manufacturing experience in an assembly environment will also be considered
Backgrounds Checks:
Successful candidates will undergo a Disclosure Scotland background check (funded by the agency).
3-year background checks and review of any career gaps, will be conducted.
Remuneration:
Competitive pay rate: Day-shift rate during training. Shift allowance payable for rotational night-shift thereafter.
This role is currently projected to run for a 6 month period upon successful completion of training.Application Process:
