Assembly Shift Leader (3X Shift)

Job Specification

The Job You’ll Do;

• Lead by example as a Shift Leader ensuring a safe and efficient workplace is maintained at all times through coordinating with Lead Operators and team activities.
• Engage with the Lead Operators and teams to focus on Quality, Cost Delivery, and gathering ideas for improvement.
• Reporting and acting upon plant or machinery breakdowns to maintenance technicians and coordinate resource accordingly.
• Ensure all administration tasks are up to date and accurate.
• Support a 5S Culture ensuring standards are sustained and improved upon.

About You;

• Experience working within fast-paced manufacturing/engineering environments.
• Ability to lead and motivate teams.
• Qualified or willing to progress to a supervisory management and business improvement national qualification.
• Excellent Microsoft Excel and Office skills.
• Proven ability to convey information to an audience, drive and embrace change, set clear responsibilities, monitor progress, and address any shortfall.
• Shift rotation and overtime will be required within this role, there may be an occasional need to include weekends.
