Assembly Technician

The JRL Group are looking for Assembly Technician’s to join their fabrication team based in Colwick, Nottingham.

Mc Mullens Facades is part of the JRL Group we offer a complete cladding and substructure fabrication solution for the group projects, from initial preliminary design to practical site completion, utilizing many materials including Aluminum, Mild Steel and Stainless Steel for various Rain Screen systems, complex feature fascia’s, soffits, and copings, as well as substructure bracketry.

Hours: Monday-Friday 7am-5pm

Interviews will be held on site, you must have the right to work in the UK.

Duties include assisting with the manufacturing of balconies and balustrades.This is due to a new product range within the JRL group, that will have expediential growth over the next 12 months, further new products will be introduced to the assembly lines in due course.

Requirements:

• Strong organisational skills with an ability to balance a varied workload and re-prioritise in response to changing business needs and unexpected engineering problems.
• Assemble production assemblies to the drawings & specifications provided.
• The correct use of tools and equipment
• Ability to read 2D drawings.

Relevant Skills & Experience:

• Previous experience with mechanical fitting and assembly experience from any industry-preferably engineering.
• Previous experience working within a manufacturing/engineering environment.
• Ability to read engineering diagrams - desirable.
