Assembly Technician
Location: Tamworth/Lichfield

EMBS Engineering has an exciting new opportunity for an Assembly Technician to join a leading precision engineering business located in Tamworth/Lichfield.
As an Assembly Technician, you will be working closely within a team to build precision engineered components for some high-profile industries. You will be required to build parts to a high specification, ensuring quality checks are completed.

Candidates must be able to demonstrate:
- Previous assembly experience
- Previous background of working with small to medium sized precision components for high profile industries including; Aerospace, Automotive, Motorsport, Nuclear, Oil & Gas, Medical or any other advanced manufacturing sectors
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
- Able to use hand held assembly tools
- Experience using powered air tools would be advantageous
- Experience of working with stainless steel, aluminum, titanium etc.
- Mechanical / Engineering qualification - City & Guilds, Diploma, Apprenticeship, NVQ etc.
