Asset Installation Engineer

The Manpower Group is delighted to be supporting the world leader in energy and telecoms cable systems with the appointment of an Asset Installation Engineer.

As part of the Technical Services Department, you will be responsible for the management, maintenance and operations of all the company's subsea and modular equipment. This ranges from large cable burial ploughs, jetting machines and trenches to onshore carousels and modular equipment.

Responsibilities:

• Maintenance planning of company owned cable burial subsea vehicles deployed on installation vessels
• Assist with offshore technical issues
• Liaise with suppliers and service partners sourcing spares and technical updates
• Ensure the subsea vehicles and relevant survey equipment and sensors will fulfil the scope of work detailed in the contract
• Manage the day-to-day technical support for subsea assets
• Managing asset documentation

What we are looking for:

• Bachelor's, Master's degree in Engineering, Technology, Engineering related subjects or a proven track record within the subsea industry
• 5 years minimum experience in a role involved in the management and operations of subsea assets
• An effective communicator with knowledge of the subsea industry and a successful track record in delivering and supporting offshore projects

This is an onshore based position and so being in close proximity to the depot in Middlesbrough is key.
