An exciting opportunity has arisen in the Asset Management team to shape the future delivery of capital investment to Bolsover Districts Housing stock. The successful candidate must have excellent people skills, be able to manage competing demands and be able to operate both individually and within a team. The role will involve a mix of both office and site-based work including relevant training where required.
Working closely with Property Services and the internal Repairs Team the role will identify future schemes and work closely with colleagues to ensure effective delivery.

- To be accountable in the provision of an efficient and effective service in relation to Capital Works within the Housing Department and to provide cover for other repair disciplines if the need arises.
- To provide inspections and reports on various types of housing stock
- To provide an efficient and effective service in relation to Council Tenants who require Welfare adaptations to make their homes suitable for their needs.
- To ensure that all relevant services are provided to all customers within the District of Bolsover including liaison with other departments within the Authority and outside agencies as required.
- To be available in the event of “out of hours” emergencies and to ensure adequate records are maintained including the provision of reports relating to the management of the workforce.
- To ensure the service is delivered in line with all statutory and corporate policies, procedures and targets.
- Have an understanding of Leaseholder legislation and consultation.
