Description

As an Assistant Accountant you would

• Support the preparation of month-end financial statements and reports
• Ensure financial records are maintained in compliance with accepted policies and procedures
• Assist in the preparation of budgets and financial forecasts
• Perform reconciliations of accounts as required
• Support the annual audit process through the preparation of working papers
• Contribute to financial projects within the company
• Adhere to all company policies and procedures
• Assist in other accounting projects as needed

Profile

A successful Assistant Accountant should have:

• A degree in Accounting or Finance or equivalent qualification
• A strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting
• Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail
• Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel, and accounting software
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
