Description
As an Assistant Accountant you would
- Support the preparation of month-end financial statements and reports
- Ensure financial records are maintained in compliance with accepted policies and procedures
- Assist in the preparation of budgets and financial forecasts
- Perform reconciliations of accounts as required
- Support the annual audit process through the preparation of working papers
- Contribute to financial projects within the company
- Adhere to all company policies and procedures
- Assist in other accounting projects as needed
Profile
A successful Assistant Accountant should have:
- A degree in Accounting or Finance or equivalent qualification
- A strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting
- Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail
- Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel, and accounting software
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
