General Dynamics Land Systems is on the look-out for a full-time HR Assistant to join our HR Team. The successful and inclusive candidate will earn a favourable salary of £20,900 to £25,700 based on experience and potential. This is an ideal role for someone who has a proactive and positive mindset and a keen desire to grow professionally.
Joining an established team based at our Merthyr facility, you will work across a range of stakeholders, with the opportunity to develop and gain experience of a range of generalist HR activities and tasks. Including the on-boarding process for all personnel through the organization, supporting the Head of HR and HRBP’s in providing a timely and high quality HR support service.
If you were already working in this position, this is what you would have been working on this week:
- First point of contact to troubleshoot and resolve basic issues, or redirect as appropriate for more technical issues system tables, list of values, etc. for various systems
- Provide administrative support to HRBP’s and Resourcing Advisor.
- Assist in onboarding process for new starters.
- Responsible for entering and maintaining mass data changes
- Support application data remediation and correct when necessary
- Establish baseline reports and create new reports wherein required
- When required assist in supporting the coverage of Reception.
- Ensure data integrity
To apply for this role, you will require the following:
- Knowledge of HR systems with experience of providing day-to-day HR Support and Administration.
- CIPD Level 3 or equivalent.
