CMA are partnering with a growing business based in Newbury, Berkshire to recruit an experienced Assistant Accountant to join the team on a permanent basis. Reporting into the financial controller this is an excellent opportunity for someone to join a busy varied team in a role than encompasses a range of duties and enable you to grow your skillset.
What will the role involve?
• Responsible for producing the payroll for circa 200 employees;
• Oversee the finance assistant who is responsible for the Purchase ledger and Sales ledger;
• Daily bank reconciliations;
• Maintain the fixed asset register;
• Assist with the production of management accounts.
Suitable Candidate:
• Previous experience within a varied finance role;
• AAT qualified or actively studying ACCA/CIMA;
• Strong IT skills including intermediate-advanced Excel;
• Strong interpersonal skills including excellent communication.
