SalaryOur small yet well-established client, who have ambitious future growth plans, are looking for a conscientious and enthusiastic individual to join their fun and family feel team. This is a permanent opportunity based from their offices in Staunton, Gloucester.
The role will be to support with all accounting duties for one of their successful subsidiaries as well as assisting with general finance administration for the wider company. Our client are happy to look at candidates at all levels however, you must have experience working within a similar accounts role.
Whether you have previous finance experience or hold an accountancy qualification this may be the excellent opportunity to utilise your skills in a new role. Progression opportunities will arise as our client often promotes from within!
To be considered for this role you must have strong attention to detail and a willingness to get stuck in along with a good sense of humour and a love for dogs! Most of all, you must be a team player.
Responsibilities:
- Inputting Purchase invoices and Customer Sale invoices
- Bank reconciliations
- Balance Sheet Reconciliation
- Supplier Statement Reconciliations
- Incoming & outgoing payments
- Goods inward receipts
- VAT
- PAYE
- Compiling monthly management accounts
- General office support as required
Candidate Attributes:
- AAT level 3 or qualified by experience
- Experience working with Microsoft Office e.g., Word, Excel
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to get stuck in and work closely alongside other members of the team
- Bubbly personality with ability to speak to people at all levels
Hours: Monday - Friday, 8:30am - 5pm (Hybrid working option available)
Salary: Up to £35k depending on experience (if you feel you have the right attributes, please outline your salary expectations when applying)
