SalarySellick Partnership are delighted to be assisting a leading organisation in Newcastle with the recruitment of an Assistant Accountant.
This role is a fixed term contract for 24 months however, does have the opportunity to go permanent thereafter.
£24,000 - £29,000 hybrid 2 days office / 3 days from home.
Main Duties
- Complete month end processes as defined in desk top procedures to pre agreed timetable;
- Review and process journals submitted from business partners
- Assisting with variance analysis and forecasting
- Assist with budgets
- Financial reporting
- Raising client invoices and enter into accounting software
- Accruals and prepayments
- Overseeing Intercompany transactions
- Cashflow management
- VAT reconciliation and returns
Person Specification
AAT level 3+ or Accounting and Finance graduate
Competent Excel user (pivot tables & VLookUps)
