Reporting directly to the qualified Finance Director, this individual will undertake a varied role covering several aspects of transactional finance but with a focus on reconciliation tasks and assisting with management reporting. This opportunity would be ideal for a Reconciliations Specialist who is looking to broaden their experience and with reporting responsibilities.
This individual will join a close-knit team that has an excellent approach towards colleague support and a team-focused ethos. It’s a friendly, down-to-earth office environment where people work hard but also enjoy a good sense of humour, job security, and a feel valued by their employer.
- Reconcile the operating account monthly
- Reconcile Fair FX account and process the monthly expense journal. Top up and order new cards as and when required by the business reconciliation
- Reconcile Fees account monthly
- World pay reconciliation monthly
- Barclaycard reconciliation monthly
- Assist in the production in Management Accounts, processing and preparation of monthly recurring journals
- Process manual payment requests via a sage payment run, raise cheques and debit and credit card payments and refunds weekly
- Balance sheets reconciliations
- Fixed asset register - maintain and reconcile monthly
- Produce the monthly Management Accounts for business unit including paying suppliers, producing sales invoices and reconciled accruals & prepayment schedules. Reviewed by Management Accountant monthly using Xero
- Any other ad hoc tasks within finance
The ideal candidate will come from a strong reconciliations background with excellent attention to detail and work ethic.
