Description
The Assistant Asset Accountant will have the following responsibilities:
- Assist in maintaining the company's asset register
- Manage the capitalisation of new assets and disposal of obsolete assets
- Coordinate with the accounting team to ensure accurate financial reporting
- Assist in preparing asset-related reports and documentation
- Perform regular audits to ensure asset accuracy
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations
- Assist in the development and implementation of asset management procedures
- Participate in special projects as required
Profile
A successful Assistant Asset Accountant should have:
- A degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- Strong knowledge of financial regulations and accounting principles
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong computer skills, particularly in financial software
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- A high level of accuracy and attention to detail
