Assistant Business Improvement Manager - 12 Month Fixed Term Contract

We're excited to announce an opportunity for a dynamic and forward-thinking Assistant Business Improvement Manager to join our Transformation team within the Asset Management Insight (AMI) department, part of the Asset Strategy and Capital Delivery (AS&CD) directorate.

Transformation is about the challenge process we go through with our stakeholders to develop or improve, seek efficiencies, and drive additional benefits from a process, concept, or framework. We transform new or existing processes based upon business need. Our role is to drive best practice by working collaboratively and evidence proposals on insight.

You’ll play an important role in our transformation initiatives. As a member of our team, you will contribute to the transformation of key business programmes, whilst driving continuous improvement across our directorate.

As an Assistant Business Improvement Manager, you'll have oversight and input into a diverse project portfolio across our Asset Management Programme, Maintenance Excellence Programme, as well as our Asset Management Process Improvements. Your role will focus on supporting our team in delivering our ambitious programmes on time, whilst providing you with the ownership and exposure to a broad number of discrete projects across both the AS&CD and Customer Delivery directorates.

This secondment will give you the unique opportunity to work with operational teams to understand better the way they work with a view to improving their ways of working, whilst forging relationships within and outside our directorate. In addition, you will also have the opportunity to spend time with other teams in AMI to learn about what they do with some work shadowing and small case studies.
