Assistant Buyer - Groundworks

This groundworks contractor is looking to recruit an Assistant Buyer or Buyer to join their busy procurement department.

Ideally, you will have experience working within groundworks albeit not essential. Experience or background in procurement of building & construction materials is a requirement and will consider all sectors within construction.

Reporting directly into the Senior Buyer, this role is responsible for providing purchasing and material support within the company, sourcing the most cost-effective materials to meet the site requirements. The successful candidate will have excellent negotiation skills and interpersonal skills to build relationships internally and manage supplier relationships.
