• Fixed Term contract until 08/11/2024
• Working 42 hours per week over 5 days  
• An accommodation & meal package available (optional) at a generous rate. With all bills and utilities covered and three nutritional meals every day 
  

As an Assistant Chef with PGL, you’ll be paid to hone and develop your skills whilst working at Windmill Hill our stunning activity centre near Hailsham. With no late nights and a guaranteed Friday or Saturday evening off each week (dependent on staffing), this could be the perfect role to develop your career in catering without sacrificing your social life or that all important family time!

Reporting to the Catering Manager, supporting the Chefs, and working within a friendly & supportive catering team, you’ll be responsible for preparing & serving a range tasty meals such as cooked breakfasts, soups, pasta dishes, dinner favourites and sandwiches/salads. You’ll demonstrate an understanding of Food Safety, allergens and dietary requirements.

• Willing to work towards excellent knowledge of food hygiene & handling dietary requirements  
  

• Level 2 Award in Food Safety in Catering is a bonus, but not essential.
