The role:
We have a fantastic opportunity to join the Capital Delivery team at Manchester Airport as an Assistant Construction Manager.
You will support our construction projects from conception to completion, ensuring smooth operations and adherence to timelines and quality standards. As an Assistant Construction Manager, you will work closely with the Construction Managers & Senior Construction Managers, subcontractors, and project teams to coordinate activities, manage resources, and maintain effective communication with all stakeholders.
The role offers an excellent opportunity to gain valuable experience in a client-side construction management role and contribute to the success of exciting projects across Manchester Airport.

Some prior experience working in a Construction, Engineering or Building Services environment, or similar discipline with a clear focus on Health and Safety and Quality Assurance is desirable. As is your ability to work within set time frames and be able to communicate effectively and confidently with stakeholders at all levels.
Having a professional affiliation such as RICS, APM, CIOB, RIBA, ICE, or similar, along with a solid understanding of the Construction Design and Management (CDM) Regulations 2015, would be beneficial.
