Altum Consulting is proud to be working with Achieving for Children, a social enterprise focusing on improving social care for children and families in multiple London boroughs. We are helping them recruit a highly motivated and proactive Assistant FinanceBusiness Partner. This is an exciting role that will get to the core of the organisation's activities and financial management, which will allow you to gain new experience and progress your career.
This role offers a hybrid working scheme of 1 day in the office and 4 days at home, with an annual salary of up to £37,000.
The Assistant Finance Business Partner will be responsible for:
- Supporting and producing monthly management accounts, reporting on trend analysis, key income, and expenditure areas.
- Supporting the budgeting and forecasting processes alongside the internal teams.
- Supporting the review of financial performance as well as supporting the Finance Business Partner.
- Working alongside the Finance Business Partner on financial modelling and costing.
- Working with budget managers to help them understand their budgets and their financial responsibilities. You will be supported by the Finance Business Partner or Senior Leadership to gain on-the-job experience.
- Identifying process improvement opportunities.
The Finance Business Partner will:
- Ideally, be a part-qualified accountant (ACA/CIMA/ACCA/CIPFA or equivalent) or have considerable relative experience.
- Have some experience working with a range of stakeholders across various levels.
- Have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with a proven ability to explain financial information clearly and concisely.
- Have strong organisational abilities, including time management, creative thinking, problem-solving, and multi-tasking.
