Assistant Finance Business Partner

Based in Uxbridge, our well-regarded client is seeking an Assistant Finance Business Partner to join their established team on a permanent, hybrid working basis.

This job would suit an ACCA or CIMA part qualified accountant to be responsible for maximising commercial opportunities across the business such as preparing, reviewing and analysing monthly results, forecasts and budgets providing financial support to operations.

This global client will provide you with excellent exposure within an international business with fantastic opportunities to progress over time.

The successful candidate will have experience in providing insightful analysis and must have advanced level Excel skills. You will also have a hands-on attitude with a pro-active approach and will be able to manage expectations of a number of different people internally. Previous experience of working in a Finance Business Partner role, within a busy finance department is essential. Advanced Excel and excellent communication skills.

Job responsibilities:

• Provide financial guidance akin to a Financial Director (FD) supporting Managing Directors
• Focus on maximizing billing and sharing insights to prevent margin erosion.
• Create budgets and forecasts for various divisions, conducting critical reviews and sensitivity analyses.
• Assist Operations Managers and Directors during retender processes by exploring cost-effective solutions.
• Demonstrate creativity in improving existing delivery methods.
• Analyse efficiency, productivity, and other non-financial aspects to identify areas for improvement.
• Attend review meetings as a Business Partner, offering constructive challenges where necessary.
• Review and analyse monthly, quarterly, and annual results.
• Prepare financial summaries for board packs, explaining results and variances.
• Provide detailed summaries and recommendations for business growth and profit maximization.
