As an Assistant Financial Accountant, you will be responsible for multiple aspects of financial management including; regulatory and financial reporting, compliance and development of internal control policies and procedures and other standard accountancy practices. Our client is looking for someone with a fresh set of eyes to help improve their current processes could this be you?

Role Responsibilities:
- Assist in the preparation of the statutory accounts for our client's legal entities.
- Balance sheet reconciliations on fixed assets, intra-company accounts and insurance balances
- Support with the preparation and review of s262 attestation process (six monthly)
- Assist with internal and external audits, providing necessary documentation and explanations.
- Assist in the preparation of quarterly schedules for submission to HQ e.g. capital expenditure report.
- Undertake special financial projects and tasks as required by the finance manager or other senior team members.
Your experience:
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office packages (Outlook, Excel, Word etc.).
- Familiarity with tax regulations and VAT
- Experience with SAP or similar ERP is essential.
Your qualifications:
- Currently hold, or working towards, ACCA, CIMA, ACA or equivalent qualification.
