Assistant Financial Accountant

Rare opportunity to join a small but very effective finance team based in South Norwich - easy parking and a delightful team working for a highly respected and interesting family owned business. We are looking for an Assistant Financial Accountant to support the Finance Manager processing sales and purchase ledger requiring efficiency and accuracy across the Groups companies. The role will include:

• Supporting the Finance Manager
• Processing both sales and purchase ledgers
• Credit control and preparing monthly reports
• Bank and petty cash reconciliations
• Inter company transfers
• Dealing with suppliers
• Staff expenses and company credit card processing
• Assisting with VAT returns ad CIC returns

Experience required:

• Solid knowledge of processing accounting transactions
• AAT qualified or currently studying - study support available/QBE considered too
• Great interpersonal skills
• Ability to work on own initiative and as a team
• Excel and Sage is a distinct advantage
