Assistant Financial Controller

Salary: $75,000 - $90,000

Location: Canyon Point, Utah

My client is a globally known, Luxury Hotel, with locations around the world.
They are looking for an Assistant Financial Controller to join their team.
This position entails supporting the Financial Controller in daily accounting operations, ensuring accuracy, timely reporting, and compliance with internal controls.

Responsibilities:

• Supervise accounting staff, providing training and development opportunities.
• Ensure compliance with internal controls and corporate policies.
• Prepare balance sheet account reconciliations, including bank reconciliations.
• Assist in monthly closing entries, analysis, and reporting processes.
• Aid in completing annual budgeting and support internal and external audits.

Key Requirements:

• Possess a minimum of 5 years of accounting experience, ideally within a Luxury Hotel or resort setting.
• Hold a degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business, with preference for candidates with an accounting designation.
• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel, with experience in accounting software
• Demonstrate experience in supervising small teams.
• Exhibit strong organizational skills and proficiency in standard filing systems, along with excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
