The Holgate Academy are seeking to appoint an Assistant Head of Year to closely support the Head of Year in all matters related to the promotion and upholding of the highest standards of attendance, safety and well-being, behaviour, and progress of a specified year group.
To be considered for this role you will:-
- Be able to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing with students, parents, external agencies and Local Authority.
- Motivate and encourage pupils that you work with.
- Be ready to develop knowledge of the particular needs of the child.

We have around 1400 students, with 11-16 education being based on the main site, and Post 16 provision shared with our partners. The Academy is part of the Diverse Academies Trust.
