Assistant Headteacher
We are seeking to appoint an Assistant Headteacher to join Deykin Avenue Primary School’s leadership team. This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious teacher to develop their leadership skills working collaboratively with the Headteacher and the leadership team, in the day to day management of the school. This is full time, permanent post which includes a teaching commitment.
Deykin Avenue School is a one form entry community school based in heart of Witton. The staff are committed to developing children who are happy, confident and have a ‘can do’ attitude. The school is on an exciting journey of change and development and will officially join the Arthur Terry Learning Partnership during the summer term.
The successful applicant will be an outstanding leader with experience of curriculum leadership. You will have the drive, energy and ambition to inspire students and staff, to strive for continuous improvement and outstanding outcomes for all.
Salary: Leadership scale 6-10 (£53,380 - £58,957 per annum)
Hours: Full time, permanent
Location: Deykin Avenue J&I School, Deykin Avenue, Witton, Birmingham B6 7BU.
Start Date: September 2024 or sooner
