The role
We are looking to recruit an Assistant Information Manager to join our busy team, based in Doncaster. The primary responsibilities for the role will be the management of information received by and issued by the project team.
Key accountabilities
- Identifying when new project documents are issued.
- Act as a designated Assistant Information Manager for your project(s)
- Downloading and formally recording documents to company servers/systems
- Uploading documents to the client's document management system.
- Ensuring that project team members use standard templates for document preparation and checking of outgoing documents, making necessary edits to ensure consistency in the documents issued to the client.
- Check that documents prepared by the project team use the correct numbering systems (client and
company systems), allocating numbers where required. - Act as point of contact for client's Document Controller, resolving any day-to-day issues which may arise. Establishing a robust Information Control process to support the delivery and receipt of formal project information.
- To assist in maintaining an overview of all aspects relating to Information Management/BIM of a project
- To promote the function to colleagues, clients, and contractors
- To support the project with controlling all aspects relating to Information Management (particularly delivery) for a particular project(s)
- Provide training guidance and support to project team members, to maintain project information standards and requirements.
