Job Title: Assistant Internal Communications Manager
Job description: Venn Group are working on behalf of a Local Authority based in South Yorkshire to recruit an Assistant Internal Communications Manager on a 6 month temporary basis.
Duties:
- Acting as a key point of contact for strategic Internal Communications issues
- Providing input into Internal Communications projects, services and policies supporting the Internal Communications Manager to ensure they are delivered to time, cost and quality standards
- Delivering Internal Communications strategies, planning and delivering major programmes and projects within the Council, working closely with heads of functions/programme directors
- Providing strategic direction for Internal Communications activity, ensuring Internal Communications channels, products and messages are aligned to the Council’s priorities
- Acting as a consultant to senior management colleagues on Internal Communications strategy
- Working with other communications colleagues to share best practice and ensuring consistent development and implementation of communications policy across the organisation
Hourly Rate: up to £35 per hour
