As a key member of the Newcastle Hospitals Team, the post-holder will develop, implement and evaluate an agreed marketing and communications strategy to raise the profile and income streams of Newcastle Hospitals Charity and promote a positive image and identity of the Charities public relations.
Essential requirements include degree level education, relevant professional qualification and post graduate study to master's degree level or equivalent.
Knowledge and experience of working for a large complex organisation is desirable.
Main responsibilities include:
- the development and implementation of an agreed marketing and communications strategy to raise the profile and income streams of Newcastle Hospitals Charity (Reg. 1057213).
- to promote a positive image and identity of the Charity's public relations (internally and externally).
- To ensure the charity's strategic plans are incorporated into all promotional and publicity materials and activity.
- to develop, implement and evaluate a strategic communications plan.
- Review and improve current practices and develop an overall strategy to promote and maximise the Charity and its income.
- Liaise with NHS staff, general public, commercial organisations and interested parties with a view to actively increasing the profile of charitable giving, developing partnerships/working relationships and generating support.
