Assistant Landscape Architect Job in Guildford, Surrey
Our client is a successful architectural practice, that has a new Assistant Landscape Architect job available, operating from its new Guildford office. The role would see working as part of a new Landscape team, focusing on residential-led projects.
Based in the city-centre, the practice has grown from strength to strength over the last few years. They now work with several of the largest names in residential development in the UK. The practice has a portfolio that ranges from one-off bespoke homes to large-scale residential developments. This role offers a great opportunity for you to develop your career and be part of an exciting new office and team.
Role & Responsibilities
- Supporting the delivery of landscape planning and design projects
- Preparing landscape design drawings, including masterplans, hard and soft landscape drawings and details
- Visting site and site photography
- Production of LVIA-related baseline plans
- Preparing or contributing to reports and written work, including landscape assessments and Design and Access Statements
- Working with internal teams.
Required Skills & Experience
- Possess a minimum of 2 years’ post-qualification experience working on UK projects
- Experience with UK residential projects would be highly desirable
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Landscape Architecture or a closely related field.
- Skill in the use of AutoCAD and adobe suite
- Strong design and technical ability.
